Terms And Conditions - PERTH DANCE FESTIVAL 2027

I understand there are no refunds or credits and that all bookings are final. If I am no longer able to attend, I am able to sell my ticket to someone else. I understand this will not be facilitated by PERTH DANCE FESTIVAL, however will notify them of the new ticket-holder by emailing perthdancefest@gmail.com

I understand and acknowledge that dancing, like any physical activity, carries inherent risks, and I assume full responsibility for any injuries or damages that may occur as a result of my child's participation. I certify that they are physically fit and capable of participating in the workshop, and will agree to follow all instructions provided by the workshop instructors.

Perth Dance Festival Terms & Conditions:
Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers
All bookings are final.

No refunds or credits will be issued for any reason, including change of mind, illness, injury, travel disruptions or inability to attend.

Merchandise purchases are strictly non-refundable.

If you are unable to attend, you may sell or transfer your ticket to another person.
Perth Dance Festival does not facilitate ticket sales or transfers between attendees.
To complete a transfer, the original ticket purchaser must notify the organisers of the new ticket holder by emailing perthdancefest@gmail.com before the festival.


Photography, Video & Liability

By attending Perth Dance Festival, all participants, performers, competitors and spectators acknowledge and agree that:

Perth Dance Festival and its authorised photographers, videographers, sponsors and media partners may photograph or film activities throughout the event.

Images and video captured during the festival may be used in future promotional material, advertising, websites, social media, printed publications and other marketing without further notice or compensation.

By attending, you grant Perth Dance Festival permission to use your image, likeness and performance for these purposes.

Perth Dance Festival, its directors, staff, volunteers, instructors, contractors, sponsors and venue partners accept no responsibility for:

Personal injury;
Loss, theft or damage to personal property; or
Any other incident arising while attending or participating in the festival, except where liability cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Participation is entirely at your own risk.

Conditions of Entry

Each attendee will receive one official Perth Dance Festival wristband which must remain securely attached for the duration of the festival.

1. Wristbands

Your wristband serves as your admission pass and must be worn at all times throughout the festival.

2. Lost Wristbands

Lost wristbands will not be replaced.

If a wristband is lost or removed, entry will be refused and a new festival pass must be purchased, as Perth Dance Festival cannot verify that the wristband has not been transferred to another person.

3. Damaged Wristbands

If your wristband is accidentally damaged and you present the original damaged wristband, a replacement wristband may be issued for a $5 administration fee.

4. Photography & Promotional Consent

By attending Perth Dance Festival, you grant Perth Dance Festival and its sponsors permission to photograph or film all or part of your participation for promotional, marketing and archival purposes.

5. Venue Conditions

Entry is subject to the venue's Conditions of Entry.

Any person who disrupts performances or workshops, refuses to comply with venue directions, or is in possession of prohibited items may be refused entry or removed from the venue without refund.

Venue staff or security may inspect bags and personal belongings where required.

6. Valid Tickets

Festival tickets and passes are valid only if purchased through an authorised ticketing provider.

Please retain your booking confirmation until you have collected your festival wristband.

7. Event Changes

Perth Dance Festival reserves the right to alter, substitute, reschedule or cancel advertised artists, instructors, workshops, performances, venues or other programming where necessary.

8. Ticket Responsibility

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring their ticket is not copied, shared or used fraudulently.

Fraudulent or duplicated tickets may be cancelled without notice.

9. Code of Conduct

Perth Dance Festival is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive and family friendly environment.

Aggressive, abusive, intimidating, discriminatory or disrespectful behaviour towards attendees, instructors, volunteers, staff or venue personnel will not be tolerated.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Verbal abuse
Harassment
Bullying
Swearing directed at others
Threatening or intimidating behaviour
Discrimination of any kind
Any conduct that causes another person to feel unsafe

Perth Dance Festival reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee from the festival without refund if these standards are not met and may refuse future attendance.

Participant Acknowledgement

By purchasing a ticket to Perth Dance Festival, I acknowledge and agree that:

I certify that I (or my child) am physically fit and capable of participating in the workshops and festival activities and agree to follow all instructions provided by the festival instructors and staff.

By purchasing a ticket, I agree to receive information about Perth Dance Festival and future events by email from the Event Organiser.

TryBooking is an online system for organisations and community groups that has been designed to look after the entire event ticketing and registration needs.

All issues relating to the sale of tickets and the hosting of their associated event(s) are the responsibility of the “Event Organiser” and not that of TryBooking Pty Ltd (Australian Business Number 71126987915).
